Phlebotomists

The phlebotomist is available to take blood samples every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8.30am-10.00am by appointment only.

Patients are required to bring their blood test request forms with them to enable the phlebtomist to perform the correct tests.  Please remember to observe any special instructions relating to your blood tests such as “fasting” tests, which means that you should not have anything to eat or drink except water from 8pm the evening before your test.

Patients who are not able to attend the surgery for blood tests can have their blood taken by the Pathology Department at Singleton Hospital, Morriston Hospital or Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
