Kingsway Surgery is proud to partner with The Swansea Wellbeing Centre to offer free, supportive group sessions for patients registered with City cluster GP practices. Below are details of upcoming programmes designed to help manage pain, trauma, stress, and low mood.


1. Pain Support Group

For individuals living with long-term pain:

  • Dates:
    • Saturday 12th April, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Online session)
  • What to expect:
    • New perspectives on understanding pain.
    • Shared experiences and practical tips for pain management.
    • Stand-alone sessions – attend one or both.

  • Funded by: The People’s Postcode Lottery and Swansea Wellbeing Centre CIC.

2. Life After Trauma (6-Week Group)

Mondays, 12:45 PM – 2:00 PM

  • Eligibility: Adults over 18 registered with a City cluster GP (including Kingsway Surgery).
  • Focus: Stabilising trauma symptoms through strategies like mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress management.
    • No discussion of trauma details – emphasis on practical tools.

3. Beyond Blue (5-Week Course)

Thursdays, 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM (Starting 22nd May)

  • Eligibility: Adults over 18 registered with a City cluster GP (including Kingsway Surgery).
  • Focus: Transforming stress, anxiety, and low mood through skill-building in a warm, supportive environment.
